4 nights in Rome on a BB basis
7 nights in Nerano, Sorrento Coast on a BB basis
Fully comprehensive car hire
Keep the kids entertained on an action-packed trip to Rome before heading for the beaches and water-based attractions of the Sorrento Coast.
Experience the history of Rome
Gladiators, gelati and the Trevi fountains are guaranteed to go down a treat with the kids. But did you know you can also hurtle through 3,000 years of Roman history on a four-dimensional flight simulator ride, and hire a four-man go-cart in the Villa Borghese gardens?
Take advantage of a large selection of family-friendly activities in Rome and minimise queueing time by pre-booking tickets and tours.
The Hotel Campo dei Fiori’s superb location, in the historic quarter of Campo dei Fiori, means that you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to picking your favourite Roman attraction.
A lovely palm tree-filled courtyard, professional and friendly staff and heavy double-glass windows ensure that you will have a peaceful and comfortable stay.
... and drink in the views on the Amalfi Coast
Nerano is a small hamlet, half way between Sorrento and Positano, comprising a cluster of houses on winding roads that meander down to the beach of Marina del Cantone. Utterly charming and possibly one of the best locations along the Amalfi Coast.
The family-owned Casale Villarena is a magnificent old villa that has been transformed into an elegant residence with five independent apartments that are ideal for a holiday with friends or family.
Enjoy the independence and affordability of self-catering in spacious apartments with the added bonus of terraced gardens with a small playground, shared pool and on-site restaurant.
Travelling between Rome and Sorrento
The drive from Rome to Nerano takes about 4 hours, down the motorway to Castellamare di Stabia and then branching off on the coastal road to Nerano.
Car hire is included in this holiday and we suggest you take the slow lane and make a couple of stopovers such as at the Roman Amphitheatre of Capua or the Royal Palace of Caserta. Once in Nerano the car is not essential but can be useful.
If driving is not your thing, please tell us and we'll book you on the high speed train from Rome to Naples (1h20mins) and then arrange a private transfer to Nerano.
Please note that this is a sample itinerary and holidays can be organised combining any hotel, duration and method of travel.
