sant'agataSant'Agata sui due Golfi

Perched on a hill amidst citrus and olive groves, the town's name translates as ''on the two gulfs'' as it sits in between the two coastlines of the Sorrento peninsula with sweeping sea views across the bays of Naples and Salerno and towards Capri and the Li Galli archipelago.

This is a town with strong culinary traditions, home to local seafood restaurants and, more famously, to Michelin-starred restaurants such as the Don Alfonso 1890.

The chic towns of Positano and Amalfi are both close by and from nearby Sorrento, you can hop on the recently established Campania Express and link directly to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples.

Sorrento can also be reached on foot along a 40-minute panoramic trail.
