It is not an official classification, but only a choice between the options we recommend to those who looking to celebrate a memorable occasion. But be warned, some of these rooms are not available at the last minute and we recommend planning well in advance - looking at peak season? Start looking into it the year before!


Relais Blu - Amalfi Coast

Capri is there in front of you, and you seem to be able to touch it with your hands. You are on the terrace of the Relais Blu, between the blue of the sky and the blue of the sea, where the Sorrento coast chases the Amalfi coast, and you breathe the scent of a luxuriant Mediterranean scrub of olive trees, maritime pines and agaves.

From every corner of this boutique hotel, you can admire, the island of Capri, Ischia, Procida and Vesuvius. Eleven rooms, different from one another and furnished with a combination of classic and modern furniture: all with balconies, all with sea views. In the kitchen, there is Michelin chef Christoph Bob. Try the Gragnano Paccheri pasta with scorpion fish ragout, peppers and basil and the apple pie with cinnamon ice cream.

Which room? you can choose between two of the Special Rooms, both are about 60sqm in size and offer unique views from the private garden or the terrace.

Bellevue & Spa - Cogne, Grand Paradiso National Park

A tradition of hospitality for almost a century. A Spa of 1200 square meters of water and wellness paths overlooking the Mont Blanc. But the jewel in the crown is the gastronomic offer, from Le Petit Restaurant, with only four tables and one Michelin star, to the Bar à Fromage.

Here each room tells its own story: the furnishings are all unique and original pieces, such as "shepherd's beds", tables and boiseries coming from old houses and then collections of antique pendulum clocks and alarm clocks, crockery, portraits of characters, ancient cradles. All pieces of "poor art'' collected with great meticulousness, which would make any antique dealer happy. 

Which room? Nido degli Angeli, an 80sqm panoramic suite with 180° views of the Sant'Orso meadows and the glaciers of Gran Paradiso and Mont Blanc. Canopy bed, modern water fireplace and a bathtub on a patio if you wish bath outdoor under the snow or the sun depending on the season.

Relais Oasi Olimpia - Amalfi Coast

Some people prefer to stay in Sorrento, others between Amalfi and Positano, those in the know choose the Relais Oasi Olimpia to enjoy a combination of both. Hotel Belludi 37 - Padua

Do not be fooled by the 2-star Italian rating of this hotel because it is fantastic, two steps from the centre, attached to the Basilica of St. Anthony of Padua, and from Prato della Valle, and what more could you ask for ... very kind staff and always available, room with a bathroom huge ... Padua, a wonderful work of art, with some interesting day trips on high-speed rail to Vicenza, Venice and the Thermal Springs of Abano.

Which room? They are two: 107 and 218, the former has a small terrace while the latter has floor-toceiling window, both have a superb views onto the Basilica.
