Tenuta Ciminata Greco

Staying at Tenuta Ciminata Greco is a unique opportunity to step back in time and immerse yourself in the history of a manor house and estate that has been owned by its current family - the Greco family - since the 18th Century.

One of oldest and best known families in the area, with a coat of arms comprised of a golden Greek Y, a lock on a blue shield, a red stripe and three silver stars, the Grecos now welcome guests to their historic family property which is situated a few minutes from the centre of Rossano, a small town famous for its Codex and liquorice production!

This rustic accommodation has abundant, varying views for you to enjoy, from the Ionian Sea on one side to the luscious greenery, rambling olive groves and the chestnuts and pines of the Sila National Park on the other.

But you don’t just have to look into the distance for a visual feast, as Tenuta Ciminata Greco is extremely aesthetically appealing in itself. Meander around the estate’s nooks and crannies to discover the historic oil grinder, the polythematic library (where you can learn more about the history of the farmhouse) and even the stone walled family church dedicated to St. Joseph!

After all this heated historical research, you can head to the tranquil pool to cool off in the refreshing water, or recline on a sunbed and admire the natural and architectural beauty that surrounds you.
