Al Fico Secco

Located in a quiet location in Palinuro, the farmhouse "Al Fico Secco" is surrounded by the olive trees of the Cilento National Park. Guests can easily walk to the beaches and trails in the area.

The property, completely new (opened early 2019), has 7 rooms including 4 doubles, 2 triples and 1 quadruple. All equipped with air conditioning, flat screen TV, refrigerator, and bathroom with shower and courtesy set. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. At the entrance of each room there is a covered patio.

In the morning, breakfast is served at the table and guests are given a menu from where they can choose local products such as mozzarella and buffalo ricotta, cold meats, hen-to-table eggs plus a sweet choice of freshly baked patries and fresh fruits.

Half or full board is also available for the stay. The set menus change every day, with fish, gluten-free, vegetarian and meat options, and are served under the porch or in the tavern style dining room.

Patriarch Nicola, a self-taught cook with 30 years' experience and a passion for local cuisine, acts as the head chef. He uses secret family recipes and all the seasonal ingredients are freshly bought daily or harvested from the family’s organic garden; they also make their own jams, compotes and fruit liqueurs.

If you want to eat out there is plenty of choices within walking distance and Nicola and his family will happily recommend.
