Nestled amidst the picturesque vineyards of the famous Langhe wine area, Il Boscareto hotel is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for stunning views across the Piedmont countryside.

It’s the ideal base for those who want to explore the region’s many boutique wineries which produce exquisite varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, Barolo and Barbaresco, or if you want to head into the nearby city of Alba, famous for its Roman history, and its exclusive white truffle.

But aside from the surrounding areas, there are also plenty of attractions and sumptuous facilities to enjoy at Il Boscareto itself. You can rejuvenate your body and mind at the resort’s spa, which features a heated pool, hot tub, Finnish sauna and Turkish bath, as well as Technogym equipment, all of which can be enjoyed whilst admiring stunning natural surroundings.

Or, if you’re more into relaxing with a glass of vino in hand than on a massage table, you can head to the Sunsì Lounge Bar which serves everything from morning coffee to aperitifs at sunset.

Hotel Restaurant

Chef Pasquale Laera has been executive chef at Il Boscareto Resort since 2003, and under his leadership the 1* Michelin starred restaurant (named La Rei) has been serving up exquisite meals peculiar to the Langhe area’s unique culinary traditions, which are also fused with features from other Italian regions due to Laera’s Apulian origins.

Dishes range from smoked squid to Jerusalem artichoke dumplings, grilled pigeon to guinea fowl with turnips and a foie gras sauce.

Your gastronomic journey can them be rounded off with a choice of delicious desserts, from citrus fruit tarts to indulgent chocolate dishes.
Other Restaurant Nearby
Serralunga d’Alba sits in the foodie-friendly triangle between Alba, Bra and Barolo.  Many places double as fine dining restaurants, wine cellars and agriturismi – the team at Il Boscareto will happily point towards the right direction.

Car hire is essential for a stay at the Boscareto Resort. The town of Serralunga d'Alba is 3km away.

The small medieval village stands out thanks to its castle, whose outline, which seems to climb upwards, dominates the village.

From here, a series of narrow streets form a narrow web of alleys. It appears that the name Serralunga d’Alba, originally Sera Longa, derives from its narrow and long shape. Around the village you can only see the hills, full of vineyards of the great Piedmontese wines.
