Hotel Restaurant

The menu of chef Roberto is ''almost'' kilometre zero: the meat comes from Bologna and Parma, the Lambrusco Fontana dei Boschi is produced locally by Vittorio Graziano and of which there are only 12 thousand bottles. Rice is not from Emilia: it is the Acquerello rice from the Rondolino family of the Colombara Estate in Piedmont.

Among the delicacies of the limited choices but rich in inventiveness, we recommend a tasting menu, 35 euros excluding drinks, featuring classic starters like Tortellini pasta in broth or Maltagliati pasta with beans, braised beef cheek with chicory and a tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano of various ages or, alternatively, the English Trifle, a classic dessert of the Emilia Romagna.
Other Restaurant Nearby
Pretty much wherever you want!

You can start your exploring from the Bicér Pin, wine shop and bistro, where you can find Lambrusco Grasparossa dop, Parmigiano Reggiano, traditional balsamic vinegar, which ripens in the municipal vinegar barrels, in the town hall in Via Cavedoni, or in the 16th century tower of La Vecchia Dispensa(tour by appointment).

Try the restaurant Il Cappero alle Mura for its refined dishes and the romantic and elegant summer garden.

Location

A jewel among the hills of Lambrusco: Castelvetro di Modena appears on the horizon with the profile of the towers of the Orologio, Prigioni and Malacrida.

The town develops around Piazza Roma, with a chessboard in the center, where every two years, in September, a game of chess is played, a re-enactment of the celebrations that the Marchesi Rangone held in honor of Torquato Tasso, who took refuge here in 1564.

The dresses, made on original models, are displayed in the permanent exhibition Fili d’Oro a Palazzo (via T. Tasso 28). But the real treasure of Castelvetro, however, is its gastronomy.

Sport car enthusiasts can visit many of the factories of the illustrious Italian heritage. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Ducati and Pagani are all within a 30-minute drive.

Locanda del Feudo offers free parking and is just a 20-minute drive from the Modena.
