Hotel Restaurant

Whilst Heuraka doesn’t have its own restaurant, quick meals are available from the bar, including snacks and seasonal salads. Pair these light bites with one of the many options from the drinks menu – of course including the traditional Venetian aperitif, Aperol Spritz - which the bartender will help you navigate with their expert knowledge.

With this said, we ate at Le Spighe, an oasis of healthy eating, as it offers organic, vegetarian and vegan food, created by the lively Doriana Presotto. She believes that what you cook should be eaten by the end of the day, and so she chooses only eight unique dishes to cook every morning.

The hotel has direct access to the canal for boats and watertaxi, but it is also the ideal starting point for walks in the Cannaregio district, a few steps from the oldest Ghetto in the world and with famous churches such as Santa Maria della Misericordia and the Madonna dell 'Orto, both displaying the masterpieces of Tintoretto.

Escape the crowds and experience Venice the authentic way, on the water. Gondolas, private water taxis and Venice’s vaporetto are all great ways of getting around but our top tip for memorable moments is to paddle your way through the city on one of Venice Kayak’s guided tours.
