Location

Le Stanze del Genio is located in the historic district of Kalsa, inside the Palazzo Torre Pirajno (XVI-XVII century). It's named after the nearby Fontana del Genio, depicting a crowned elder and a snake feeding on his chest, located in Piazza Rivoluzione. The latter is one of the oldest quarters of Palermo's historic centre as well as the fulcrum of the city's recent Renaissance.
