La Giuggiulena is along Siracusa seafront and within a 20-minute stroll of the island of Ortigia.

If you have time to spare, a visit to Ragusa, Noto, Scicli and Modica is highly recommended, either on a private excursion or hopping on and off the ‘Barocco Express’ train which completes its journey in Ragusa.

For those that have a car, exploring the coastline south of Syracuse will take you to pretty fishing villages such as Marzamemi and to the beaches of the Vendicari Nature Reserve.
