Fun family day-out in Lake Garda

Italy’s top-rated amusement park is found in Peschiera del Garda and it's easy to reach from pretty much anywhere around Lake Garda.

Offering larger-than-life dragons, fantasy rides, speed-thirsty roller coasters, magical worlds and a jolly good atmosphere, Gardaland is a fantastic family day out.

Jump on board a selection of epic roller coasters like Blue Tornado, Raptor and Oblivion: The Black Hole – this is not for the fainthearted; inverted tracks, double-loops, vertical drops and gravitational pulls will provide for a massive dose of adrenaline rush!

Hold tight with Shaman, a brand new 2017 addition to the rollercoaster menu, as you’ll be propelled into Virtual Reality where spirits will try to haunt you for eternity

Family-friendly coasters, like Mammut, tailor to both young and old – that is if you don’t mind being chased by an enormous mammoth!

Why not get your little ones ready for some Kung Fu training - Master Po-style - at the Kung Fu Panda Academy, before venturing into fantasy worlds like Prezzemolo Land’s medieval castle or Baby Pilota’s enchanted ride.

A host of other family-friendly activities are available, from dragon parades to acrobatic displays and magical performances - you will be awed!

Sea-Life, Gardaland’s massive aquarium, is another treat for the whole family.

This marine encounter will teach you everything from ocean life to freshwater survival, going through Lake Garda’s own ecosystem too. Don’t miss shark-feeding time, a unique memory your children will take back home!

The park, which stays open until late evening in summer, also offers a range of restaurants, fast food stalls, bars and kiosks to keep you going through day and night. Don’t forget to take a map at the entrance to navigate your way through all the fun!

Gardaland Park is only 2 Km from Peschiera del Garda railway station (Trenord Milan-Brescia-Verona line or Trenitalia Milan-Venice line).
