La Riva

Don't be put off be the relative anonymity of the building: the apartment itself is absolutely delightful and has been carefully designed to provide picture postcard views whichever way you look.

From the car park, a few steps wind down through a lemon covered pergola to the apartment entrance which leads directly into the double bedroom. Next door to the bedroom is the living room which opens out on to a large terrace, and then on to the bright and simple but well-planned kitchen which has large sliding doors out to the terrace.

Enjoy leisurely breakfasts on the panoramic terrace surrounded by the colours and fragrances of the Amalfi coast, then wander down the steps to the bathing platform where sun loungers and umbrellas are provided.

As the day draws to a close, unwind on the terrace over a chilled ‘limoncello’, watch the sun go down over the water and then stroll down to one of two local restaurants for a delicious dinner of fresh fish.

Location

La Riva is located a 10-minute walk from Atrani along the Amalfi drive, half way between Amalfi and Minori. The bus stop in the direction of Amalfi is just few metres from the house.

Atrani has kept intact its distinct fishermen's village charm. The town is accessed from the beach, and from there, the traditional houses climb up the steep mountain valley, intertwined with gardens, and vibrant lemon terraces.

A few bars have opened in the last couple of years making Atrani's square the place to meet and chat in a very pleasant tourist free-zone atmosphere.

Atrani is a great base for those wishing a more tranquil location but with easy access to the main sights of the Amalfi Coast.
